Earning the BSA SCUBA Merit Badge is Fun, Easy and Exciting. It Begins with Your Enrollment in Adventure Divings' BSA / Open Water or Junior Open Water Certification Program offered at Adventure Diving in Central Florida.This carefully crafted program satisfies all requirements for BSA Merit Badge and SCUBA Certification. Home Study Academics and the required reading, quizzes, knowledge reviews, and videos are all completed at home on your schedule. The program can be completed in approximately 8 - 10 Hours. Upon completion of the home study via CD-ROM, Textbook or Online program. Contact Adventure Diving in Crystal River Florida to make an appointment for the Open Water Portion of your course.
This portion, under the careful watch of your Sanctioned BSA Leader & Certified Dive Instructor takes Two full days (3 recommended) to complete. Open Water training includes everything including confined water experience and 4 Open Water Certification Dives in Warm Spring Water 20- 50 feet deep. Upon Completion of your Dives and a final written examination you will earn your coveted BSA SCUBA Merit Badge & Your Open Water (or Junior open water - depending on age) International SCUBA Certification. Your card is valid for life and recognized around the world in over 100 Nations.
A CD-ROM is included with your Tuition. It contains everything you need to complete the home study. A textbook / workbook option is available at an additional cost of $ 69.00 . The online program option if chosen is an additional $ 95.00 when purchased through Adventure Diving.
